Naruto Shippuuden episode 77
Akasun Sasori
He is a very skilled ninja, with many aces up his sleeve. He is part of Akatsuki and travels around with Deidara as his Akatsuki partner. Before Orochimaru left Akatsuki and Deidara became Sasori's partner it was Orochimaru who was part of a team with Sasori. Sasori is also known as "Akasun no Sasori" or "the Scorpion of the Red Sand". He is very impatient and likes to get things done as fast as he can, he doesn't like to let people wait or be waiting himself.
Sasori lost his parents at a young age and was left in the care of his grandmother, Chiyo. It's she who taught him everything there is to know about puppetry. When Sasori first learned how to use this ability, he made puppets resembling his dead parents in order to feel loved by them. He later on starts creating human puppets (puppets made from human bodies) from opponents he thought worthy of becoming his puppet.
His favorite puppets are Hiruko and the Third Kazekage, both shinobi from the Hidden Sand who he kidnapped and killed to become part of his collection. Hiruko is a more defensive puppet, while through the Third Kazekage's puppet Sasori can use the Third's unique Iron Sand ability.
But that's not all, Sasori himself is actually a puppet too, he converted his own body into a puppet. It gives him a young appearance, and let's him control 100 puppets at once by using a mechanism on his chest that can spin numerous chakra strings. To be able to do this he has to be able to use chakra, for this reason his heart is preserved inside his puppet. His heart, being the only part left of his human body, is the only way to really kill Sasori. Otherwise he'll just transfer his heart to another puppet.
Sasori is eventually killed by his grandmother Chiyo and Sakura. He is stabbed through the heart in the form of a hug by the human puppets of Sasori's parents. After his defeat Sasori informs Sakura of his spy within Orochimaru's ranks, Kabuto Yakushi. He tells her where and when she can meet him.

Hoshigaki Kisame
Hoshigaki Kisame was introduced alongside Uchiha Itachi, as a fellow member of the dreaded Akatsuki. Not much is known about Kisame, other than his past affiliation with Momochi Zabuza in the Hidden Mist's Seven Legendary Swordsmen group. He has a freakish personality and an equally freakish shark-like appearance.
He has a terrifying sword he calls Samehada, which is basicaly a chakra-absorbing sword that cuts through his opponent's chakra by absorbing the chakra around it. The amount of chakra it can absorb is unclear, but seems to be unlimited. Kisame's Samehada is of comparable size to Zabuza Momochi's chopping blade, but rather than slicing its intended victim, it rips them apart like the teeth of a shark. Kisame is also the only one that is able to wield his Samehada. When Maito Gai attempted to use the Samehada against Kisame, the sword responded by attacking Gai's hand with spikes coming out of the handle.
Kisame loves to fight, and was eager to fight Asuma, Kurenai, and Gai at the same time, but was disappointed when Itachi ordered a retreat. He is fearless, and not afraid to use his Samehada liberally. He uses water-based jutsus and is able to create water from nothing, turning any battleground into a lake, enabling him to use even stronger water-based jutsus. Kisame's amount of chakra is said to be the largest in Akatsuki. Truly someone to be cautious of, if not terrified of. As an Akatsuki member Kisame was assigned to capture the host of the four-tailed beast, an assignment he already succeeded in.
Hunt for Uchiha Arc
Kisame successfully manages to capture the Four-Tailed beast, his assigned Tailed beast, around the same time Team Snake is formed. During the following Akatsuki meeting to seal the Four-Tails, Kisame and Itachi are informed of Team Snake's formation with Sasuke as its leader. Kisame is later told by Itachi to stand guard outside the former Uchiha clan headquarters and to let in only Sasuke. After Sasuke leaves the rest of Team Snake, Suigetsu (who is a former candidate for that organization) starts a fight with Kisame, wanting to claim Samehada as his own, although it is unknown if Suigetsu can even hold it, since spikes will appear when held by anybody but Kisame. It is currently unknown if the two ever fought, but Suigetsu and Kisame are revealed to both be alive following Sasuke's fight with Itachi and it seems he will be aiding both Akatsuki and Hawk. He later encounters Tobi who reveals his identity as Madara and possibly the Fourth Mizukage, to him. Kisame seems to know him and comments that he feels a lot better knowing it's him who's pulling the strings...

Naruto Clash of Ninja
The Naruto: Clash of Ninja series (known in Japan as Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen) is a series of 3D cel-shaded fighting games based on the popular manga and anime series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. They are developed by Eighting and published by D3 Publisher and Tomy. Various installments of the series have appeared on both Nintendo's GameCube and Wii. Four games are available for the GameCube and two are available for the Wii. The first two installments are available in the United States and in PAL regions, with a third released on October 23, 2007 as a North American exclusive. A fourth game, also exclusive, is scheduled for release in the fall of 2008. All other installments have been released in Japan.
Each installment of the series has had numerous methods of play with varying types of modes. New games have introduced additional modes that generally appear in subsequent games. The player directly controls a character taken from the Naruto series, and uses their unique abilities to battle and defeat an opponent. New games in the series include more of the Naruto plotline in a "story mode," and it generally stays true to the source material. As a result, the character selection increases with each installment due to the inclusion of more of the Naruto plotline. With the newer games incorporating Naruto: Shippūden, the second part of the Naruto series, many of the characters have been substantially redesigned, and the selection correspondingly limited. Reactions to each installment have been mixed, with many praising the simple and easy-to-learn fighting system, with others lambasting the fighting system, and the lack of significant unlockable content.
In each game of the series, the player controls one of many characters directly based upon their counterparts in the Naruto anime and manga. As in practically all fighting games, the player then pits their character against another character controlled by the game's AI or by another player, depending on the mode that the player is in. The objective of each game is to reduce the opponent's health to zero using basic attacks and special techniques unique to each character that are derived from techniques they use in the source material. For instance, Naruto Uzumaki is able to use his signature Shadow Clone Technique, and Rock Lee utilizes many of his Strong Fist style techniques. To use these techniques, characters have available a chakra bar, which depletes upon the execution of a special technique. Each game in the series also possesses numerous modes that offer different styles of play. The game's story mode generally follows the plot from the anime and manga, with a versus mode pitting two players against each other also included. Each game in the series adds new modes, as well as incorporating new features into the game. Early games feature unlocking characters by using a Shop and obtaining money in fights. Most of the games feature an 'Omake' bonus section which contains music, sound effects and character models.

Hinata Hyuga
Hinata is generally soft-spoken and polite, applying appropriate name suffixes to most people. She is kind, being unwilling to watch people get hurt in front of her, a trait that Neji considers a flaw. Hinata is able to understand people who share pain, and is one of the few people who knows how painful Naruto's childhood was. She generally thinks carefully before acting, allowing her to think more clearly in tough situations. Hinata has a long standing admiration for Naruto, a trait her teammates often tease her for. Despite being painfully obvious to almost every other character, Naruto has always been oblivious to her attention, and due to her timidness, he finds it hard to be with her at times, but still claims that he can be around Hinata. Hinata gets along well with her teammates. Kiba's actions toward her are often motivated by concern for her, as seen when he urges her to forfeit if she is matched against Neji. Shino often indicates that he believes in Hinata, and makes a point of telling it to others when they doubt or worry about her. Hinata is also the closest to Team 8's sensei, Kurenai Yuhi, who is especially invested in Hinata's growth as a ninja and as a person. Kurenai noted that Hinata had was better in her battle with Neji. After Hinata was knocked down for the last time, Kurenai, despite appearing sad over how much Hinata suffered, silently congratulated her student for not giving up. After this and for the rest of Part I, she begins strengthening herself with training with Neji, and encourages Naruto at the very same time, speaking her true feelings a bit more and training harder than usual. In Part II, she evolves to the rank of Chunin, indicating her successful training. She also stutters less when she speaks, showing how much she is finally gaining confidence in herself. Despite this, her feelings for Naruto have remained the same over the timeskip, as she is unable to bring herself to greet him when he returns, and passes out after nine seconds when he goes to greet her. Despite this, her perseverance has caused Naruto to view a true side of her, and he now views her in a higher regard.
As a member of the Hyuga clan, Hinata possesses the Byakugan, which gives her a near 360° field of vision, albeit a blind spot around the back of her neck. During the Chunin Exams, she displays the ability to focus the Byakugan's sight, increasing the distance that her eyes can see. She also specializes in the Gentle Fist fighting style, which allows her to damage her opponent's chakra circulatory system and inner organs directly with even a slight tap. Despite all these abilities, her father at least initially believes her to be too weak to lead the clan.
After her fight with Neji, Hinata takes her quest to get stronger to new levels. She used training that consists of manipulating water to sprout in an orb around her. This training manifests itself during the Bikochu filler arc in the form of Protection of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms (Shugohakke Rokujūyon Shō), a combination of the Hyuga clan's most powerful techniques, the Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin, and the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. With it Hinata emits streams of chakra from her palms to create extremely sharp blades that she can use to hit any target in her field of vision. Due to the speed at which these blades move, the amount of control she has over them, her natural flexibility as well as her ability to manipulate their size, Hinata can use this technique to attack and defend simultaneously. Over the timeskip she rises to the rank of Chunin, indicating that her training has been effective in making her a better ninja and maybe actually being able to do jutsus like this in the manga.

Deidara
Deidara was originally from Iwagakure, although he readily abandoned the village for the opportunity of using his "art" more frequently. Deidara became an assassin bomber for hire, not caring who he worked with so long as he could use his artwork. Sometime after Orochimaru left the organization Akatsuki, Deidara was located by Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, and Sasori, who were under the orders of the leader Pain to recruit him. Although, at first, Deidara refused, he quickly got into a small confrontation with Itachi, where Itachi forced Deidara to join by almost fooling Deidara into killing himself with his own clay explosives via genjutsu. Deidara, having been forced into Akatsuki and taking a huge blow to his ego, carried a loathing for Itachi throughout all of his time in Akatsuki, though he was intelligent enough to recognize Itachi as a more powerful opponent.Deidara, when partnered with Sasori, traveled to Sunagakure to capture Gaara and extract the Shukaku within him. When they got inside the village, Deidara was greeted by the Fifth Kazekage himself, and the two began to fight. Deidara's left arm was destroyed during the fight. Despite the fact that he had lost one arm, Deidara still managed to defeat the Kazekage by using the safety of Gaara's village as a distraction. Deidara then took the unconscious Gaara out of the village where his partner — Sasori was waiting. The two Akatsuki members then took their captive to their hideout where they began the three day long jutsu to extract the tailed beast out of its host while Team 7, and Team Guy attempted their rescue operation. By the time they broke into the hideout, the jutsu was completed and Gaara was dead. Naruto was enraged and began to chase after Deidara with Kakashi following him, leaving Sasori to deal with Sakura and Chiyo.
In the chase, Deidara first tried to separate Kakashi from him and Naruto by dropping explosive clay. When the attempt failed, he simply went faster, baiting Naruto. When Kakashi revealed his Mangekyo Sharingan, destroying Deidara's right arm, Naruto finally caught up with him. Deidara dodged the attack Naruto threw towards him and Naruto's shadow clones managed to tear Deidara's clay creation(which held Gaara within it) apart. Naruto then proceeded to attack Deidara up but he only managed to destroy Deidara's Clay Clone. Deidara meanwhile hid himself and learned that Sasori was dead, killed by Sakura and Chiyo. Team Guy found out Deidara's hiding place with Neji's Byakyugan.
Outmatched and missing both arms, Deidara managed to escape by setting off another larger explosion by eating the clay of the remains of his clay bird (which Naruto had tore up earlier when he tried to save Gaara). Kakashi sent the explosion into another dimension using his Mangekyo Sharingan to protect the group. Deidara survived and went to find his missing arm and ring. He then became Tobi's new partner after Tobi retrieved Sasori's ring.
Deidara accompanied Tobi to capture the three-tailed beast, and makes it a point to argue with Tobi over who did the bulk of the fighting. By now, his arms have been sewn back on by Kakuzu.
Deidara attacked Sasuke after hearing of his (seemingly) killing Orochimaru. Sasuke's lightning-elemental Chidori proved a good counter to Deidara's earth-elemental clay bombs, and Sasuke managed to survive each new bomb Deidara used against him; however, Deidara managed to counter Sasuke's newly realized genjutsu abilities by only viewing Sasuke through his left eye, which allowed him to pierce visual illusions; this led to Sasuke being forced to run his own Chidori Nagashi through his body to purge it of C4 particles, which caused him tremendous harm. Deidara created this counter to the Sharingan-based genjutsu of the Uchiha clan to defeat Itachi and found that it worked well against Sasuke. Deidara was eventually defeated, but rather than telling Sasuke where Itachi was, he decided to feed himself clay in an attempt to self-destruct and kill Sasuke. The attempt failed, though, and Deidara was killed in the blast, while Sasuke summoned Manda to protect himself at the cost of Manda's life. Later on Sasuke would find his team.

Zetsu
Zetsu is easily distinguished by two large venus fly trap-like extensions enveloping his head. These extensions can envelope the rest of his body as well, giving him a plant-like appearance. When his extensions are open and his head is visible, it is revealed Zetsu has two different colored halves of his body, the left side completely white and the right side black. To go with this, Zetsu seems to have a split personality, as in the Japanese version of the manga the black half of his face speaks only in Katakana while the white side uses Kanji and Kana, and in the English episodes the black side has a different voice actor than the white side. The two halves also seem to converse with each other, and occasionally differ in opinion. They also seem to communicate with their thoughts. To further his venus fly trap theme, Zetsu is also a cannibal. Zetsu's main role within the Akatsuki is to function as a spy, often acting as a hunter-nin for Akatsuki. He has been shown able to move his body and take part in the tailed beasts sealing ritual simultaneously which, in addition to being unique to him, allows him to act as a lookout while the sealing takes place. This might refer to the split personality theme;since he acts as two different people, one side might focus on the sealing jutsu while the the other side might patrol the surrounding area. When an agent to Akatsuki, or possibly even a member, dies, Zetsu is sent to devour said bodies as to not have their secrets revealed. Due to the role he plays, Zetsu is the only member of Akatsuki to act without a partner on a regular basis. Despite this, Zetsu serves as a sort of superior to other members, as they often report directly to him instead of the actual leader, Pain. Zetsu is also the one sent to retrieve the rings of dead Akatsuki members.
Zetsu has been shown having his complete loyalty to Akatsuki, to the extent that the leader, Pain, trusts Zetsu with the knowledge of his identity. As a possible reward for his loyalty, Zetsu was once given a subordinate, Tobi, who would later become a member of Akatsuki himself. Zetsu is also shown knowing that Madara Uchiha is the founder of Akatsuki. He knows Tobi is Madara, since in chapter 395 he reports to Madara who at the time is wearing the mask that is identified with Tobi.

Pein Akatsuki Leader
Pain is the recognized leader of Akatsuki and is from Amegakure. He is referred to as "leader" by all Akatsuki members except for Konan, who refers to him by his name. Although he directs the actions of the other members and maintains authority over them, Pain takes orders from Tobi, who is actually Madara Uchiha. In addition to acting as Akatsuki's leader, Pain was the leader of the winning faction in the Land of Rain's latest civil war.
He is at first believed to be a boy named Nagato, who, like Konan and Yahiko were orphans from Amegakure, forcing them to fend for themselves. The three eventually encountered the Sannin, who at first was less than willing to help them. Orochimaru even suggested to kill them as they were orphans of war and as such would only live their lives full of misery. Jiraiya, however, decided he would care for the three and took them in. One night at dinner, Nagato cried because eating together reminded him of his family, and later that night he ran away with Yahiko.
The two were attacked by a Rock chunin, who injured Yahiko. Seeing this, Nagato activated his Rinnegan, and killed the ninja, a feat that is normally impossible for someone who has never trained as a ninja or never had any military training or martial arts training. Jiraiya decided then and there he would train them in ninjutsu. Nagato was very emotional about killing the shinobi, and asked Jiraiya for help so he can protect Konan and Yahiko, where Jiraiya said he must grow up. After three years, Jiraiya felt they were strong enough to fend for themselves and told the three he would see them again when they grow into adults. Jiraiya believed Nagato to have died with the others under unexplained circumstances, but has told Konan that whenever their names were mentioned outside their village, it was always about someone being killed when they opposed them.
Pain has since led one side of the Amegakure civil-war and took over the village, he has become a greatly respected leader in that village. The members of Pain's faction wear their Amegakure forehead protectors with a scratch through it the way the full members of Akatsuki do, despite the fact that none of them, including Pain, are actually rogue ninja, as the scratch symbolizes.

Uchiha Itachi
A genius above all others, Itachi was born into the Uchiha Clan and praised by all as the best of his generation. However, not even his family, friends, or teachers could understand him.
Not much is known about Itachi's childhood, only that at age 4 Itachi had already witnessed countless lives lost due to war, which emotionally traumatized and affected his demeanor. It is also known that he graduated from the ninja academy after only one year. At age 7 he graduated from the Academy and mastered the Sharingan at age 8, passing the Chunin exam at age 10 and becoming ANBU Captain at age 13. At some point he got a lover, that he killed during the Uchiha clan massacre.
He was praised highly by his father, who saw the family's future in Itachi and neglected his other son-- Itachi's little brother Sasuke. However, during this time Itachi showed great affection towards Sasuke, and even encouraged his father to come to the Academy when Sasuke was enrolled, something their dad had otherwise forgotten, by saying that he would otherwise not come on a mission.
After having acted strange for a long time, not coming to the clan meetings and refusing to train with Sasuke, it would finally seem that he snapped. With the help of Madara's teachings (and possibly the help from Madara himself), he slaughtered his entire clan overnight (with the exception of Sasuke). Due to the fact that Sasuke was never to know about the Uchiha's attempt at a coup d'etat and the Konoha higher ups's orders, Itachi used his Mangekyo Sharingan to capture Sasuke in a genjutsu and show him how he had killed everyone. After this Sasuke ran away, but Itachi confronted him again and explained that he did it all to test himself. He also explained that the new eyes he had acquired could also be acquired by Sasuke and all he had to do was to kill his best friend. Telling Sasuke that he let him live because he had the potential to become as strong as him, he also tells him to hate him and detest him, if he ever wanted a chance of defeating him.
After Sasuke collapsed, Zetsu left for the battle between Naruto's Team and Tobi; and, after being asked, informed them that Itachi had died and Sasuke was probably on the verge of dying as well. Tobi and Zetsu then left to gather Sasuke and Itachi's corpse to an unknown location. There, Tobi is then shown trying to talk to Sasuke, but he is unresponsive. Tobi then reveals he is also a living Uchiha and the man who knows the "truth" about Itachi Uchiha. When Sasuke sees Madara's Sharingan Eye, the Mangekyo Sharingan is suddenly awakened in his left eye, attacking Madara with Amaterasu. Somehow, Madara manages to survive the attack, even though he is completely engulfed in the searing flames of the eye technique. Recovering, Madara suggests that Itachi transferred his eye techniques to Sasuke for protection, by killing Madara. He continues his speculation, saying that he set it up so that the Amaterasu would activate at the sight of his Sharingan.
After Sasuke asks why, Madara continues by saying it was to protect Sasuke. During this time Madara also reveals that it was him who helped Itachi on "that night" and persuades Sasuke to inquire about Itachi by telling him that Itachi did everything he did, because he wanted to protect the Shinobi World, the Leaf Village, and most importantly, his little brother, Sasuke.
He continues on by telling Sasuke to remember his "kind brother", Sasuke reminisces about Itachi, then faints. When he awakens, he had been tied up by Madara so that he doesn't leave. Madara goes on saying that the only people who knew the truth about Itachi were the Third Hokage, his two advisors Homura and Koharu, and Danzo. He states that Itachi massacred the Uchiha clan and left the Leaf Village, all on orders from Konoha. He continues saying that Itachi "killed his sense of self" to carry out the mission. Sasuke, now confused asks "Why?". Madara, in turn, told Sasuke that he must start from the very beginning of Konoha's foundation in order to reveal Itachi's truth.
Madara revealed that before Konoha came to being, there had always been competition and battles between the two greatest shinobi clans: the Senju clan and the Uchiha clan. However, a peace treaty was signed between the two clans but Madara suspected that the Senju clan would never keep their word. After the Fire Country was established, Madara was furious that Hashirama Senju was named the First Hokage and left the country. When the Kyubi attacked Konoha, the Leaf's upper echelon suspected the Uchiha clan was behind the attack since their Sharingan can control the fox demon. Some of the members from the Uchiha clan became rebellious upon knowing that suspicion and formed a coup d'etat against the Leaf. In response to that, the Leaf stationed a spy amongst the group: Itachi. Because of this, the manga states that it was "The beginning of Itachi's hell."
Itachi had been four years old during the Third Ninja War. Due to the tragedies he had witnessed, he became a pacifist and put the stability of the village above all else. Itachi loved the village and had no interest in clan politics. However, he was ordered by his father to enter ANBU as a spy for the Uchiha. Itachi realized that if a clan as powerful as the Uchiha instigated a rebellion, the entire Land of Fire would feel its effects, weakening the nation. Such a trauma would have undoubtedly been seen as an opportunity for attack by the other nations, thus starting a Fourth Ninja War. To circumvent such a disaster, Itachi betrayed the Uchiha, becoming a double agent for the village. Although the Third Hokage made attempts to negotiate with the clan, the Uchiha continued to plan their coup d'etat. Itachi approached Madara, who at the time was seeking revenge on both the Uchiha and the Senju clans. In return for the safety of the village, Itachi offered to help Madara slay the Uchiha clan. Itachi's mission was thus to eliminate every Uchiha and leave the village forever. However, when the time came, Itachi was unable to overcome his love for his little brother, Sasuke. As a result, he told his brother he had slain the clan merely to test his abilities, and gave Sasuke the goal of revenge in order to make Sasuke stronger. In order to ensure Sasuke would not live in shame because of his heritage, Itachi implanted the idea in Sasuke that the Uchiha clan was a noble member of Konohagakure and that he had killed them for petty reasons. Itachi begged the Third Hokage not to tell Sasuke the truth, and also threatened Danzo to prevent him from harming Sasuke. After his last mission for the village was completed, Itachi spent the next several years planning his own death at Sasuke's hands.
Madara explains that Itachi came to the village in order to warn Danzo and the two elders that he was still alive. Also, he planned his whole fight with Sasuke just to give him Mangekyo, to take out Orochimaru's cursed seal, and to die in front of him, which was his life goal and final mission. It is revealed that Itachi wanted to die by Sasuke's hand so that he would become a hero for avenging the Uchiha clan. During the fight Itachi was plagued by an illness that would've killed him earlier had it not been for medicine and his love for Sasuke. For the sake of Konoha and for Sasuke he was willing to die as a criminal and a traitor. He traded honor for disgrace and Sasuke's love for his hatred, and even then he died smiling. He entrusted the Uchiha name to Sasuke so that it would be proud again. In a flashback it is revealed that Itachi, despite his love in his brother, did not trust what Sasuke would do so gave some of his power to Naruto as a failsafe (what power is currently unknown) in case Sasuke attacked the Hidden Leaf.

Uchiha Madara
Madara sometimes exhibits a very calm and serious personality and at other times he exhibits a playful disposition, especially when in the disguise of Tobi. He speaks with less formal diction, such as not using honorifics, and shows typically "villainous" arrogance. Despite this apparent arrogance, he is not above complimenting the abilities of Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki, if only for the interest of Sasuke's Sharingan and Naruto's tailed beast. Despite his villainous personality, during the first wars he wanted to protect the Uchiha Clan and knew that the wars would eventually extinguish it, which is why, when the entire clan wanted it, he agreed on the peace treaty with the Senju Clan.
Eighty years ago, when shinobi were battling as individual clans, not as villages - among a countless number of them, two clans emerged as the strongest: the Uchiha clan and the Senju clan of the forest. Madara was born with a particularly strong amount of chakra, which he states due to his "stubborn refusal to die". His chakra was strong even for the Uchiha clan, who were known for having strong chakra. He was also the first to activate the Mangekyo Sharingan. He had a younger brother, who was equal to him in every way and who also awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan. Together they ruled over the Uchiha clan, with Madara taking the role as leader. But eventually Madara went blind, unaware of any side effects of the Mangekyo Sharingan at the time. He became increasingly desperate to regain his eyesight. He killed his brother and stole his eyes (although he claims that his brother willingly gave his eyes up to Madara for the sake of the Uchiha clan), so that he would have the strength to continue leading Uchiha. At some point in Madara's early life, by the decision of the entire Uchiha Clan except for him, he formed an alliance with the Senju Clan of the Forest, Hashirama Senju's clan, and together with its leader, the future First Hokage, Madara founded Konohagakure.
However, after Hashirama was chosen to be the First Hokage of Konoha, Madara feared that the Uchiha clan would lose supremacy and he sought the help of the Uchiha in his challenge for leadership. The Uchiha clan, however, refused, believing he was greedy, and called him a monster who stole his own brother's eyes just for his own desires. None of the Uchiha would help Madara, and he decided to leave the village. Feeling hurt, he came back and wanted revenge against Konohagakure which led to a legendary battle at the Valley of the End against Hashirama. During the battle, Madara used his Mangekyo Sharingan to take control of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox and used it in a desperate attempt to kill the First Hokage. Madara, however, was ultimately defeated and was presumed by most to have died after the battle. Madara fled, and was never seen or heard of again out in the public for decades. To commemorate the battle, two statues, one of Madara and the other of the First Hokage, were carved into the earth around the waterfall. It is for this reason that Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha's fight at that location was noted to be ironic.
Madara created the criminal organization known as the Akatsuki to look over problems. He hid behind the shadows and placed Pain as the figure-head leader, with Madara giving Pain orders from the background. Outside of Pain, the only members who are shown knowing Madara's position as the true leader are Konan, Kisame, Zetsu and Itachi.
Itachi Uchiha believes it was Madara himself that controlled the Demon Fox to attack Konoha, though Madara denies this, saying that the fox was a natural disaster. Nevertheless, when he came to destroy the entire village of Konohagakure in revenge, he met up with Itachi, who had already been assigned his mission to kill his clan. Itachi successfully talked Madara into only killing the Uchiha Clan as long as he left the rest of the village alone. Madara also taught Itachi about the Mangekyo Sharingan, helping him by teaching him how to unlock its true power. After Itachi killed off the Uchiha clan because of orders from the Leaf Village, Madara let Itachi into Akatsuki for unknown reasons. Itachi refers to Madara today as "a pathetic shell of his former self, no longer worthy of being called the greatest Uchiha."
It has also been recently revealed that at some point after being presumably killed, Madara took the role of Mizukage.

Gaara Of The Desert
The tattoo on Gaara's forehead means love, which combined with his name means, "I Love Death". Since he only feels alive when he kills, he believes that killing is his reason for being. The tattoo was put on Gaara's head by Gaara himself after his abilities killed Yashamaru. Yashamaru, being the one that raised Gaara, being the only one that seemed to care for Gaara.
Altough Gaara's father asked Yashamaru to kill Gaara, Yashamaru says he had willingly accepted the mission. Having never truly loved Gaara, hoping that killing him would avenge the death of his sister. Yashamaru eventually detonates himself with explosive tags covering his body, with his last words being "please die". Gaara survived the blast without even being injured, losing the only person he thought cared for him, losing his fate in bonds and love.
When we take a look at Naruto Shippuuden we notice Gaara has undergone some personality changes. His relationship to his siblings has become somewhat normal. He has come to concider Kankuro and Temari as his brother and sister where he used to threaten to kill them if they got in his way. He talks to Kankuro about his problems and dreams. In a conversation Gaara has with Kankuro Gaara says: "In order to escape a path of loneliness, I have no choice to but to work hard and make my own path. If I do that, then someday... someday I can be like him. That's why as a shinobi of the Sand I'll aim to be the Kazekage. So I can live a life connected to my village. I want to work hard so that other will accept my existence.". It's obivious that Naruto inspired Gaara to question his bonds with other people. Suffering, sadness and joy - He want to be able to share it with another person, he want his existence to be necessary to other people, not as a weapon to be feared but as the Hidden Sand's Kazekage. He eventually follows up his dad as the Fifth Kazekage and really acts as the villager's protector as seen in his fight with Deideira. The villagers also have come to respect Gaara, and the younger females of the village even like Gaara. In the beginning of Shippuuden Gaara fulfills his role as the village's Kazekage, but gets taken by Akatsuki doing so. Gaara apparently dies from having Shukaku getting extracted by Akatsuki.

Nidaime Hokage

Nidaime was the Second Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village, the First Hokage's brother and the grand uncle of Tsunade. Not much is known about him, and we've only seen him in battle when he was summoned by Orochimaru together with Shodaime to fight against Sandaime. He can perform jutsus in an instant and he specializes in water-based jutsu. We saw him use high level water jutsus in an area where there was no natural source of water, he was able to summon an extremely large amount of water in seconds, quickly flooding an area. His great skill and strength shows us he was truly a very powerful Hokage.

Sandaime Hokage
Also known as Sandaime, he is the third hokage of the hidden village Konoha. Sarutobi is 68 years old and this is his second time to be Hokage. He retired so the 4th would be able to become kage, but when the 4th died in his fight with kyuubi, Sarutobi once again became the Hokage. He was the instructor of the sannin, the most noted ninja team of their era, but eventually all three left Konoha and him later in their lives. He is the first known to have done the bell training that we see Team 7 doing. To most of the villagers he is a very warm and paternal figure that mainly protects and provides for the villagers in a very kind and gentle way. Through his wisdom and strength as a leader, Konoha continued to flourish while he was the Hokage. His reputation for knowing all the jutsus from the village of Konoha has earned him the name "The Professor". Eventually at the chuunin exam that Naruto participated in, Orochimaru made an alliance with the Sand village and they attacked Konoha and he engaged Sarutobi in a one on one battle. Orochimaru summoned the two previous hokages to fight Sarutobi and the outcome was that Sarutobi died in that fight but not before stilling the unholy summons and taking part of Orochimaru's spirit and his ability to do jutsus. Once before Sarutobi tried to stop Orochimaru, but he at that time was unable to kill his former student who had been his prized pupil and once desired successor. So he like the 4th makes the ultimate sacrifice and forfeits his life to protect the village.
He has a grandson Konohamaru who wants to succeed him someday, and then possibly the Jounin Sarutobi Asuma is closely related to him as well.

Yondaime Hokage
The Fourth Hokage and also known as Konoha's "Yellow Flash" with his blonde, spikey hair. Yondaime is alluded to be the greatest ninja that Konoha has ever produced. Yondaime was a respected and popular Hokage and is also seen to have a gentle and wise spirit. Yondaime was mentored by Jiraiya, one of the Legendary Sannin, along with the two teammates who have yet to be named. After becoming a Jounin, Yondaime became sensei for a team consisting of Kakashi, Obito, and Rin. Yondaime is feared by the opposition in battle and, during war time, ninjas are told to "flee on sight" if they're ever misfortunate enough to meet the "Yellow Flash."
Not much else is known about him, other than the fact that he saved Konoha from the Nine-Tails Fox thirteen years ago. In order to do this, Yondaime was forced to sacrifice himself using the Demonic Soul Seal technique, and he then sealed the Kyubi's soul into Naruto. It is not known how Yondaime sealed the Kyubi in Naruto, and it is also unknown how Yondaime and Naruto are connected, whether it be family or otherwise.
Not much has been seen of Yondaime in battle. The one technique that was seen, the Body Flicker Technique, consists of placing a seal or marker onto an opponent. This allows Yondaime to instantaneously move from his spot to behind his opponent, literally in a "flash." Although no one has Yondaime use it, it is also known that it took him three years to develop and perfect the Rasengan. Through the battles that we have seen though, we gather that he is an immensely powerful as he approaches incredible odds and dispatches them to the amazement of his comrades. He strikes fear into his opponents with his speed.
His strength though is matched with his desire for the village and the people in it. When he is tutoring Kakashi's team, he is gentle yet firm with them even when they disobey his orders. He attempts to reconcile differences and make peace within his team so that they will be able to act with unity and not divisiveness. And eventually he does make the ultimate sacrifice with for his village in using the technique that demands his own life. So he like his predecessor sacrifice their life for the protection of the village.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja (known in Japan as Naruto: Narutimate Hero (NARUTO-ナルト- ナルティメットヒーロー, Naruto: Narutimate Hero ?) is the first installment of the Ultimate Ninja series. It is now a Greatest Hits title. The game was released on October 23, 2003 in Japan, June 26, 2006 in North America, November 17, 2006 in Australia, and November 30, 2006 in Europe.
The game features a unique battle system with special techniques and jutsus that can be used. It also features several items, like shuriken and kunai. There are many multi-layered stages from around the Naruto universe, including the Hidden Leaf Village, the Chunin Exam arena, and the Forest of Death. In the original Japanese version, there were only 12 characters; however, NamcoBandai has added the ability to select both Curse Mark Sasuke and Nine-Tailed Naruto as bonus characters. Although both of these characters were already in the Japanese version as transformations, NamcoBandai chose to distinguish these four variations into their own playable characters. Due to this, both Naruto and Sasuke have lost their ability to transform into their stronger modes during battle. This is much like the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 transformation system. The game also features an arcade style story mode. The Story Mode consists of up to six battles divided by some dialogue in a manga style display, one of many homages to its source material.
Critical reception has been positive. But fans criticized the game and gameplay, especially the graphics. G4's X-Play gave Ultimate Ninja a three out of five for a creative comicbook feel and stylish cel-shaded graphics, but complained that the controls are too simple, and that the English voices are "slightly questionable." Both IGN and GameSpot say that the game is easy, yet fun, to play, and praise the anime/manga-inspired graphics.
